If you like red wine with structure, this is your shelf. Vranac from Herzegovina brings dark berries, pepper and warmth; Prokupac, the old Serbian grape, is drier and earthier than the international varieties; Crna Tamjanika is a rarity that nearly disappeared even at home. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Regent come from the same cellars.
Highlights include Kremen Kamen from Matalj, Rodoslov Grand Reserve, Trijumf Noir and Stella Noir from Vinarija Aleksandrović, Hercegovački Vranac and Velika Vukoje Selekcija from Vukoje, plus Dionizije Potrkanjski and Vranac from Vinarija Jović.
