Honey the way it leaves the comb

Four varieties form the base: acacia honey is pale, mild and stays liquid for a long time, blossom honey tastes of whatever was in flower, linden honey carries its typical minty note, and forest honey is dark, resinous and the least sweet of them. Then there is comb honey — an intact piece of comb in a jar or a wooden box, eaten wax and all.

Beside pure honey we carry the classic products of the hive: bee pollen, perga (pollen fermented inside the comb), propolis and propolis drops, along with the honey specialities Medela, Medomix, Medvit, Prostamed and Rubinherz. If you like fruit with your honey, see honey with wild berries.

Crystallised honey has not gone off: a water bath below 40 °C makes it spreadable again. For serving, the wooden spoons and comb boxes from our woodware go well with it — together they make a gift that doesn't look last-minute.
