A present that gets used up is rarely the wrong one. A bottle is opened on a good evening, a jar of honey stays on the breakfast table for a few weeks, a wooden board serves a kitchen for years. So we have picked out the items in our range that give best – at Christmas, as something to bring along to dinner, and as a thank-you for business partners.
Rakija: with or without Lux packaging
In the Balkans, fruit brandy is the present that is hard to get wrong. You bring it, you put it on the table, and it is drunk slowly, in small glasses. For several of our brandies you can choose on the product page between the variant with Lux packaging and without Lux packaging. The Lux version arrives in a firm gift box, so you need neither paper nor ribbon.
- Zlatna Nit plum brandy: a nine-year-aged plum brandy for anyone who appreciates strong, matured distillates.
- Williams pear brandy with added honey: pear and honey, softer and rounder – a good first step for someone who does not know rakija yet.
- Quince brandy: quince brings a fragrant, fruity aroma to the glass and works well as a digestif after a long meal.
If you would rather give something sweeter, Malinello raspberry liqueur is the alternative: raspberry with a fine note of honey, good over ice cream or dessert as well. The full selection sits in the spirits category.
Honey in a wooden box
Comb honey is honey as the bees stored it: in the capped comb. You cut off a piece and eat it wax and all, on dark bread or with a strong cheese. Our honeycomb honey in a wooden box was made as a present: the box is the packaging and stays in use as a container afterwards.
For anyone who prefers honey in a jar, our acacia honey comes in several sizes. The small jars are handy when you want to remember a lot of people – on a festive table they sit nicely next to the place card. Everything else is under honey.
Wood from the workshop
Our wooden products are made by hand, mostly from cherry, oak or walnut. Because every piece has its own grain, no two are quite alike – with a present, that is an advantage rather than a flaw.
- Cherry wood chopping board with plate – for cold cuts, cheese and ham, a serving board and a work surface at once.

Something to bring to dinner
When you are invited, the present may stay small, but it should suit the evening. A bottle of wine always works when you know what is being cooked. If you are unsure, a small jar of honey with a wooden spoon is the calmer choice: it puts no pressure on anyone to open it right away, and it looks right beside an already laid table.
Corporate gifts
With presents for clients and staff, what matters most is that the same thing works equally well many times over. So the practical choices are items that come in a consistent version: brandies in Lux packaging, honey in one fixed size, plus a board or a tray. Three combinations that work

- For the cheese-and-ham lover: a cherry wood board with plate, a bottle of red wine and a jar of honey for the cheese.

If you are still undecided, put the parcel together by colour and shape: a dark bottle, a pale wood, a golden jar. It already looks like a present in the box, before anyone unwraps it.
